Domestic Gravity is an ongoing series of objects and paintings, that are reflections on the expanded domesticity of the artist. The context of gravity can be understood as a magnetic force or power that can pull anything into the artistic orbit. Inspired by the treasure-hunt aspect of Thomas Pynchon’s Gravity’s Rainbow, I gather material of global as well as local that needs scaling down to the personal to be perceived.
