DOMESTIC GRAVITY 2015

Gravity is an ongoing series of photographic ‘objects’ and paintings,
that are reflections on the expanded domesticity of the artist. In this
context gravity can be understood as a magnetic force or power that can
pull anything into the artistic orbit. Inspired by the treasure-hunt
aspect of Thomas Pynchon’s Gravity’s Rainbow, Persson has been
gathering material for a personal archive of global as well as local
events that needs scaling down to the personal to be perceived.
